About Lumen & Oak
Warm light, honest timber.
Lumen & Oak began with a lathe, a stack of air-dried oak and a conviction that a room is finished by its light, not its furniture. We make and source sculptural lamps and small timber objects — pieces with weight, grain and glow — and we make them slowly. Every lamp is wired and burn-tested on the bench before it's boxed. Every board and tray is cut from a single billet and finished with oil and beeswax you could eat off. Nothing here is trend-led; we'd rather you buy one lamp in a decade than three in a year. If a piece ever fails you, we'd like to hear about it — and then we'd like to fix it.
